This has been SO handy when adjusting the harmony of several instruments. One track can be selected for active editing and several tracks can be "locked in" making one instrument active and the others available to adjust duration- and pitch-wise. Midi ghost notes allow an almost score like visual representation of all tracks overlaid onto one edit screen. It has the same capability FL Studio has! That capability is explained HERE in this video I asked for this feature in Cakewalk and wouldn't you know, the feature is available. Reaper does seem to have this feature but I am not sure it can handle all midi tacks in a mix. Mixcraft does not have the capability at all.
I will say it isn't intuitive to find if it has this capability.

It is likely I simply do not know yet how to make it work in this regard. When I use Studio One I am able to only ghost a few tracks at once. I decided to see how many programs also had the capability. This is one of the main reasons people use FL Studio over other DAWs. The reason? FL has the capability to see all tracks as ghosted notes at once. Yet for some this was not good enough and they moved to the Fruity Loops Studio program. The layout of the midi tracks when stacked in addition to the bright colors of the notes allows for easier viewing of alignment between tracks. In linear view I love the way the midi tracks can be clicked on and edited in the piano roll. This quest began recently when I was composing in Ableton Live.
